My Review - This is my first Chianti and so far my reviews with Italian wines have been very positive. So much in fact, I feel like Italian wines of all colors are my favorite. The color of this wine was very dark almost like dark raspberries mixed with chocolate. The aroma was very strong and had a deep plum and dark berry scent. The taste was incredibly full bodied, very strong dark chocolate taste and low acidity. This wine was probably better than the Shiraz, which I really liked. Ive noticed the deeper the body the more I enjoy the wine. Rating 9/10.
